A Few Of My Favorite Pieces

Good morning everyone. As I was looking around my home, I realized I have several pieces with one common denominator. They are all mustard colored. Besides black, mustard is my favorite color for furniture. Now you will have to excuse the poor quality of the pictures. I took them with my phone. These pictures kind of make my pieces look sick and green but I think we all know what color mustard is so just squint a little when looking at them.

Okay, I guess I will have to do this backwards because I can't move this one stubborn picture to where I want it to go. So in reverse....

This piece which you can see is not mustard in color has been in storage since December and it is just waiting for me to bring it to my home when the shop opens back up next month. All of the goodies on the shelf are not mine although I wish I had a few of them. I'm hoping the shelf is wide enough to set a small television on. If so, this piece will be going in my living room.

These next 4 pieces are from Country Wicks in Lisbon, Ohio. All of the furniture in this store is made by a local crafter. You should see the finish he puts on his pieces. Very talented I must say. He has even refurbished a few pieces for the shop and you would think they were newly built pieces until you realize you have seen the outdated piece somewhere before.

This birdhouse was bought for me for my birthday one year by my daughter. She is so good to me. I'm sure daddy had to pay for it though. He is good to me too!

This is my crock/ jug rack. As you can see I only have two pieces on it but when I find more, the glass pieces on the bottom will go and be replaced.

This cupboard was one of the first pieces I bought. I just love it.

Next is my most favorite piece I have purchased so far. It fits perfectly in my kitchen. One day I am going to redo the kitchen and get rid of all the red, green and the apples. It will be mustard, black and burgundy and I will have hardwood floors and granite counter tops. I plan to decorate with roosters. I so wish it was in our budget to do it now but I suppose it won't kill me to wait a little longer.

These next two pieces came from the Cricket Box in Columbiana, Ohio. The owners of this shop build all their furniture that they sell. They will build to your specifications and will paint the pieces any color you want. I could go crazy in that store. Such quality and craftsmanship. The prices are wonderful as well. I have my eye on several other pieces in their shop but they too will have to wait just like my kitchen redo.

Don't you love how this table resembles a door. I think it is very cool. I removed some of my accessories so you could see the panels a little better.

Thanks for stopping by today and looking at some of my favorites. It is supposed to get up into the 60's today and I am so hoping it does. Spring can't get her soon enough to suite me!!!

Hugs to everyone,
~AMY~
