Please forgive the poor quality of the picture. My digital camera is not working so my daughter took this picture with her cell phone and sent it to me. We had no idea what the picture would look like because she dropped here phone while on vacation and the screen broke. She took this picture without being able to see it first. I see a glare from the back wall appearing in the microwave front. I think you can still see the concept of what we did. Can't wait to see what project we can come up with next. I'm thinking something along the lines of granite, mustard paint and wood?? Honey are you reading this???
I hope everyone is enjoying this week. Here in Ohio we have been having some beautiful weather. The temperature is averaging the mid to low 70's and it is just beautiful out. I wish it could stay like this all year round. In closing, I want to wish everyone a delightful week ahead. I'm trying to get inspired and start decorating for fall. One thing I did get accomplished is I made some faux caramel apples for decoration. Seems like everyone has been doing this as well. I will post later when I get them all dried and wrapped.
Until next time.....
Hugs and Blessings,
~AMY~
You are so blessed to have a husband who's handy at any diy project!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the microwave as I know how valuable counter top space is!
Now granite sounds reallllly good!lol!
Christine
My micro-wave is in a cubby all its own that was built under a short set of cabinet doors, but it is on the other side of the room...across from the stove. I love having it off the counter-top.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right that we are having wonderful weather here in Ohio. Fall in Ohio is my favorite time of the year.

The microwave looks really nice there! It certainly frees up a lot of space! Mine sits on the counter, it would be nice to have it above the stove.
ReplyDeleteAmy, this looks really nice! My kitchen is really tiny, and I am very limited with counter space. I've thought about giving up the microwave altogether to gain more space; I'll have to show this to my husband to see if he thnks it would work for us.
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well. I haven't seen the caramel apple craft (I'm so behind the times), so I can't wait to see what you're up to!
I love it there too! And I sure hope your husband was reading because I want to see what's up your sleeve next! I love your kitchen decor!
ReplyDeleteOkay you'll have to post how to do the caramel apples, because that would be something fun for Joy and I to do together!
Have a great weekend!
Tammy
oh I am so liking the color choices you are going with..can't wait to see what you come up with...love the microwave..we have one above our stove and love it..;)gives me more room to decorate the counters.:)
ReplyDeleteI think it all looks great and I didn't even notice that the bottom wasn't flush. Like you said, it's perfect for you all so that's all that matters. Granite, mustard paint and wood? Sounds very interesting... I'm loving mustard paint!
