~Just Taking The Girls For A Walk~

Now trust me this is one walk I was not going on. My husband found these two beauties in his garage the other day when he opened the door. Thank heavens he is not afraid of these darling little creatures. I on the other hand want no part of them. Bob is not a killer so he decided that he should release his friends into the back part of our woods. How much do you wanna bet they come back for another visit!

When I first saw him walking thru the yard, I thought he had two chains in his hands. I figured it out rather quickly that they weren't chains when they started coiling up towards him. Chills just shot up my back when I realized what they were. I want to thank my sweety for letting me grab my phone and take a picture of him and his bravery.

I will try to make my next post a little less creepy!

Hugs, AMY

  1. Hurray for Bob...I'm with him...it hurts to kill creatures that can be relocated...

  2. I hate snakes no matter what kind they are. Even in pet stores. The boys like to look at them. Give me chills. We have had cats & ducks for 7 years. I have always heard they keep snakes away. I do believe this. We have found 4 snakes in all those years and they were outside the boundries of where the ducks roam and the cats stay usually. The cats do seem to roam a bit futher than the ducks. Early this spring I passed by what seemed to be a stick. It was getting dark and I was out side the roaming area. On the third trip by I figured I would pick it up. As I put out my arm it raised up and put its head back. I knew then the head shape was a smaller young copperhead snake. My son grabbed a shovel and well you know what happened next. Our neighbors have gotten a lot. Copperheads seem to live like this area. My Pap and MIL were both bitten by copperheads. So glad those snakes were removed for you by your brave one.
