Labels from Yankee Lane Primitives

I think by now just about all of us bloggers have purchased some sort of labels to add to all our prim goodies and I thought I would share a few of the items I added labels to. I am so fascinated with the way they look on everything. You can get them in any size to label just about anything you can think of.

Let me first apologize for my picture taking. I have come to realize I really stink at photography. I think maybe I should take focus lessons from someone that knows what they are doing. If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you can see it better. The labels will be easier to read as well. Now onto my goodies.

This reproduction treenware bowl is holding the bowl fillers I got from my last swap with Cindy. I know I just showed this picture but it was worth showing again.

Next we have a little bottle that I filled with the miscellaneous buttons I had scattered all over the place. I need to gather up more so you can see them in the bottle.

I found this little box at the GW a while back and it was blue with "Recipes" painted on the front. I think it looks so much better in black.

I want to paint out this knife holder in black but for now I just slapped a label on it and I think it greatly improved its appearance.

I have my toaster and can opener hiding in this little box. It is the top cover off of an old treadle sewing machine. You can't really see the label but you get the idea.

These canisters look much better with the labels on them. They were so plain before I added them. (Can you see the little piggy beside them? I think he is so cute.)

I think this cutting board is my favorite. I wish it were bigger so I could keep it on my stove top.

Finally I added labels to a few jars I found hiding in one of my cupboards. Can't seem to remember where they came from but I just love the way they turned out.

Even though my pictures are out of focus, I think you get the gist of how things look. If you haven't tried labeling anything yet, be sure to check out Susie's blog at http://www.yankeelaneprimitives.com/ or her Lemon Poppy Seed site at http://www.lemonpoppyseeds.com/shoppes/psyankeelaneprimitives/ or her eBay link at http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/yankeelaneprimitives. I know you won't be disappointed that you did.

Have an enjoyable Friday everyone. Get out and do something fun with your family this weekend and if you have anything exciting planned, please be sure and share it with me.

Hugs to all,
~AMY~
